Week 3 NFL Tips, Trends and Totals

We’re on the road this week so we’ve pooled Totally Covered, Trends with Benefits and a few more SDQL betting tips into one feature!

My NFL picks were 3-3-1 ATS in Week 2 and after an 1-4-1 opening week, I was happy to take the split. It’s business as usual for the opening few weeks to come packed with surprises so you have to be careful with your bets, don’t get too high off a win or low off a loss. It’s a long season and I’m happy to have started off Week 3 with another winning pick on Thursday Night Football.

Here is the rest of my Week 1 card including two totals from the late games on Sunday and Monday. All bets are for 1 unit.

Totally Covered – Week 3 NFL Picks

The Bengals have taken over this series lately but Baltimore is 8-1 SU/ATS as a small fave when facing a division foe for the first time in a season. I think the Ravens will score into the 20’s here but I’ve got the Bengals covering and two revenge systems that are a combined 35-20 O/U the past 20 seasons (64-percent).

Trends with Benefits

Arizona lit up the Bears last week and now they’re going to take their best shot doing the same to a San Francisco team who are are coming off a lashing in Pittsburgh last week. One week will not be enough time for defensive adjustments by San Fran but against a familiar foe, I do expect the Niners will contribute some points. This game fits a scoring profile that has a database record of 13 overs and 4 unders (77-percent).

Trend Tips: Take the Niners and Cards Over 43.5 points

Power Rating Picks

Nothing flashy here but my power rating predictions hit better than 60-percent last season and these five sides line up:

Pittsburgh -1.5, Minnesota -2.5, Houston -6.5, Cincinnati +3, Dallas +2
