We’ve highlighted a few top trends and sports betting tips from Sunday’s late games and a Best Bet from Kansas City at San Diego!
The Oakland Raiders played well under Tony Sparano in their first week back from the bye and this week they’ll try and grab that elusive first win a non-Conference game against the Arizona Cardinals (4-1).
ARIZONA at OAKLAND
Line: Cardinals -3.5 and O/U 45.5
The side on this game has held steady throughout the week but total has climbed across an important barrier when it went from 43.5 up to 45.5. As we mentioned in Totally Covered Week 7 NFL Picks, ‘44’ is the No. 1 most commonly landed on number in football the past four seasons. Part of the move is surely credit to the status of Cards QB Carson Palmer but we also want to point out that winless teams from this point out are 15-5 O/U since 2012. The Raiders are expected to play with the same kind of up tempo gameplan that led to 28 points last week (four passing TDs) and home dogs in this spot have averaged a total of 49.1 points per game. We booked this game OVER 43.5 early in the week and posted it at the Pick Sixty Sports Facebook Football page, along with the EveryEdge Sports Betting Forum. While we wouldn’t suggest flat betting it here at 45.5, we would strongly suggest you start following us on Twitter so you don’t miss out on the ‘Early NFL Picks’ that we’ve been cashing for 65-percent since 2011. For now, you may want to tease this “Over” 39.5 points and hook it up to our next play.
KANSAS CITY at SAN DIEGO
Line: Chargers -3 and O/U 45.5
This is another game where early line value offered the Chiefs with up to +4.5 points. Andy Reid is 14-2 SU and 11-5 ATS after a bye week and he’s been a cover machine getting points on the road with KC. This trip is no easy task but the Chiefs are 3-0 ATS getting points with Reid on the west coast and we feel he’s got a nice coaching advantage here over second-year Charger HC Mike McCoy. SDQL System of the Week: Giants at Cowboys
This will be one of America’s most watched games this afternoon and a perfect prelude to the 49ers and Broncos matchup on Sunday Night Football. We are leaning to the Giants with all the points you can find in this contest and will note that the Cowboys are 1-16-1 ATS since 2010 when laying points vs. teams who rush the ball more than 27 times per game.
Have a great Sunday and check back later for Sunday/Monday night picks along with early picks for Week 8.
