Trends with Benefits: Week 11 NFL Betting

Top trends and sports betting tips from Sunday’s top teams including the Denver Bronco, San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts!

Pick Sixty’s NFL winning streak hit five-straight weeks when the Philadelphia Eagles crushed their team total in the first-half of Monday’s game against the Carolina Panthers and we have a full lineup of free picks loaded for Sunday so let’s get to it!

OVER/UNDER PICKS – WEEK 11

For all you under bettors, we have a penalty system play “live” in the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears game. This system is eight for 10 so far this season and hitting 60-percent with more than 120 plays since 2005. This play is also backed by a ‘Time of possession’ profile we detailed in this week’s Friday Tipsheet from KillerSports.com where divisional games have stayed under in 16 of 18 contests since 1996. The Bears defense needs to man up after that pitiful display in last week’s Sunday nighter. Look for a heavy dose of the run game from both sides in a classic NFC ‘Central’ battle as these two stay under the number. We suggest paying a little extra juice on this one to get the key number as ‘47’ is the third most common “Over” number since 2010 behind ‘51’ and ‘48’.

Pick: Take the Vikes and Bears UNDER 47 (-120)

If you like NFL systems for betting on totals you might want to read this week’s Totally Covered featuring in-depth analysis of home faves with high totals from the past four seasons. We have three plays to consider from Green Bay, New Orleans and Indianapolis – Read more!

AFC vs. NFC BETTING TRENDS

Inter-Conference totals have been a hot topic the past couple years, cast into the spotlight with a 76-percent hit rate to the high-side in 2013. The record so far this year has cooled off considerably but AFC vs. NFC totals are 4-2 since Week 8 and judging by records from the past few years, we could be entering a ‘hot spot’ for these totals worth watching.

Games on the hot stove since 2012 have produced 45 overs and 16 unders – a 74-percent record for over bettors. The games to consider for this week are Cinci at New Orleans, Denver at St. Louis and Seattle at Kansas City and here’s another couple nuggets from Arrowhead:

– Seattle has scored 24 PPG their past 16 games as a non-divisional dog (13-2-1 ATS)

– Small home faves off a win where they were sacked four-plus times are 25-9-1 O/U with a total of 42 or more

Trend Tips: Take the Seahawks and Chiefs OVER 42 points

WAGERING MINDS WANT TO KNOW

Road faves are 15-9 ATS (63-percent) and 16-8 O/U (67-percent) the past five weeks and there are three games this week to consider for a play on the visitor and/or the “Over”. San Fran (-4, O/U 44) is at New York, the Broncos (-9.5, O/U 50.5) are wrapping up a three-game tour at St. Louis and the Pittsburgh Steelers (-6, O/U 46.5) are laying chalk in the Monday Night Football contest in Tennessee.

We issued an early MNF play this week on the Steelers and ‘6’s’ are still readily available with online sportsbooks across the board. We also like the Niners to cover and predict a higher scoring game in St. Lou with the Broncos doing the majority of the scoring. Before you bet another road fave, though, you should really take the time to read this weeks’ online wagering feature, “NFL Road Faves – The Six Best Bets”. It clearly highlights the advantages to live betting on certain road faves; something worth keeping in you back pocket for a busy Sunday.
