SDQL Trends Week 6: NFL Betting Tips

SDQL trends and sports betting tips from Sunday’s late games around the league!

Week 6 has three games going late, with the Rams at Denver, Jacksonville in Dallas and the Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans. We have SDQL trends and betting tips for all three games including a heads up for the Sunday nighter between the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots!

LA Rams at Denver

Line: Rams -7 and O/U 50

The snowstorm that has hit the Rockies was dropping this total faster than the mercury, which is also sitting mid-20’s for kickoff, but it has started to reverse on gameday. The Rams are on the road for a second-straight week and are unfamiliar up here, so those are Bronco advantages, but Denver hasn’t looked great this year, with soft playcalling. There are rumblings that HC Vance Joseph’s job in jeopardy and when you start hearing that talk with a losing team, you start worrying about players quitting.

SDQL Trends Week 6

As a dog of more than +3 points the Broncs are 0-11 SU and 0-9-2 ATS since 2011 when the total is 43 or more. Check Sports Database for details on this SDQL trend:

team = Broncos and D and line > 3 and total >= 43 and season > 2010 and REG

The Rams look unbeatable right now and I don’t see them taking this game off, but I’m not interested in laying this kind of lumber with a warm weather team in these conditions. There is a 75-percent Over/Under SDQL system posted at the Killer Sports Trend Mart. It has had a winning record season since 2012 and is well worth the read.

SDQL Trends Week 6 Feature: Jacksonville at Dallas

Line: Jags -3 and O/U 40

The Jaguars qualify as one of my Pick Sixty Power Rating plays this week and I’m looking for a good effort for them off that loss in Kansas City. The total is right inline with this being a strong defensive game and road faves with a turnover margin swing like Jacksonville’s in the past couple years are 14-26-2 O/U.

Anyone that read my Sean Lee injury update knows how I feel about the Cowboys without their defensive leader, and although RBs Leonard Fournette and Corey Grant are out, I’m alright rolling with Blake Bortles and TJ Yeldon this week.

Pick Sixty SDQL Trends Week 6 Pick: Take the Jaguars

Baltimore at Tennessee

Line: Ravens -2.5 and O/U 42

This is another game we featured at the Trend Mart. My newsletter picks are 4-1 this season and I circled the total in this game early in the week. In terms of sides, my power ratings are pointing towards the road chalk here but we have to make sure Baltimore’s power ranking isn’t being too artificially inflated by those early wins. Get my Over/Under prediction for the Ravens and Titans here.

For the Sunday nighter we have a Best Bet “live” at Killer Cappers. This is an epic midseason matchup and it will be a great test for young Patrick Mahomes. We saw how good he looked in the second half against the Broncos, so let’s see what he’s got against Bill Belichick’s defense.
